Nothing gives more perspective than speaking to a child.
They say it as it is.
My girl was sharing her holiday moments with me some time ago.
- ‘Pleasurable moments zoomed past.’
- ‘Moments of pain and boredom seemed to drag on forever.’
- ‘Moments that you were fully immersed in, and had such lasting memories that it felt like you spent an eternity in it.’
This is not a new phenomenon; Most of us do experience this subjective experience of time. However, few of us let that sink in and truly sees what does that mean for us. It intrigues me to ponder about this – if mindfulness is a skill for mastering our inner experiences, can I then master how I experience time?

If I can commit to mastering my experience in each moment…
Do I then master time?
