The Simplicity of Well-Being

So simple… that we forget

Pause... Breathe... Rest

Did you forget again today? 
Or did you forget the whole week?
The whole month? Your whole life?

To pause and notice… 
Where am I?

To breathe and realise… 
This is alive

To rest and soften… 
Close your eyes

We forget the simplicity of well-being
It’s so simple… it’s not possible
“The problems and worries are bigger than me!”

Or forgotten because it’s simple
The momentum of life takes over
“I will do them when the important things are over!”

Doesn’t it make sense that it should be simple to stay well?
It certainly makes sense that anyone could do so
And we needn’t wait for life to be a certain way to be

May you and I be well.
May you and I …
