Reframing for a Spacious Mind

I am not a big fan of positive thinking. Mainly because I don’t see that negative thinking occurs because we consciously wanted to. However, when it arises, it is already here. How can we allow what is here, even if they are unhelpful thoughts, without wallowing in negativity?

Mindfulness has a rather objective but gentle & kind way of practicing how to navigate and reframe or see with new eyes. What is here? Allow and surf skilfully.

I used these 2 common thought patterns to illustrate.

  1. “Stop thinking!”
  2. “I want to have clarity now or I want an answer now.”
