In the path of growth, every step leads the way.
What serves then and what serves now?
Then: Hate that I hate myself.
Now: See the paradox of hating hatred.
Then: “You are not ambitious,” said the voice in disdain.
Now: “I am not ambitious,” said the voice in pure relief.
Then: I am sorry I don’t know.
Now: I don’t know.. (grins)
Then: Find a tribe so that you won’t be alone
Now: Alone is nice.
Then: Stop being angry at the little things.
Now: Anger points to hidden things.
Then: I have to let go of ‘not good enough’.
Now: ‘Not good enough’ is a thought that drifts by.
Then: It’s ok to be anxious.
Now: It’s really ok to be anxious.
Then: Manage the pain.
Now: Feel the pain.
Then: I am on the path.
Now: What path?
Then: Say yes.
Now: Say yes and no.
Then: Breathe well.
Now: Breathing.
Then: Love ice-cream.
Now: Still love ice-cream.
Then and now.
Now and then.
If there isn’t a then
there won’t be a now
Honour the then
Savour the now
